When the fine tip of the machine comes 1mm from the skin surface, the strong energy meets the nitrogen in the air which then produces focusing plasma. This creates a tiny flash that causes instant shrinkage and tightening of the skin. As this tiny flash hits the skin it causes subminmation (hard surface to gas) then instantly repairs into a tiny carbon scab. These scabs remain for 6-9 days and then flake off, revealing tight new skin. The technique and application of plasma varies depending on what you wish to achieve: wrinkle removal to lesion removal or a non-surgical blephoroplasty. There is a big difference between an electric arc and a plasma arc. Plaxpot has a genuine plasma output produced by the plasma generator, which is located in the machine. Make sure you never subject your skin to an electric arc! An electric arc is a narrow channelled arc. It penetrates a lot deeper into the skin, increasing the risk of side effects. Electric arcs can burn and scar the skin and should never be used around the eyes, unlike plasma devices. A plasma arc, when applied to the skin by a trained professional, will only affect the superficial epidermal tissue. It is controlled and treats the skin evenly.
